Brazilian Liaison is a result of Renata Loureiro Tinoco Stephens’, (left), passion for traveling, whose mission is to connect people to places and cultures around the world.

Renata L.T. Stephens, Brazilian, has a degree in Language and Literature and worked as an English teacher, translator and interpreter for 15 years in Brazil, always combining travel with her work, whether taking students to England or being involved in business trips as an interpreter. She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Renata’s passion for traveling started at a very young age – “ My father worked for the Brazilian Army and as a consequence my family was constantly moving to different regions and amazing places not only in Brazil, but also abroad. And my mother’s adventurous spirit was always guiding us on amazing treasure-hunting weekend escapes.”

In 2001, while working as an interpreter for the Government of Mato Grosso do Sul State, accompanying a group of Americans, Renata met Mr. Hans Kristensen, the senior vice-president of KITT - Kristensen International Travel and Tours - who offered her a position in his company. Later that year Renata moved to Minneapolis, MN to pursue her dream of officially working in the travel industry. In 2005, Renata founded Brazilian Liaison.
